    Mission Statement:
The goal of the music ministry is to help congregants worship the Lord as best they can. “The Mass is our utmost response to His utmost love.” The music ministry serves the congregation with leadership, an example of reverence, and creating beautiful music that serves the joy, gravity and sanctity of the Holy Mass.

    Schedule of music ministry:
     4pm mass: no music

    7am mass: no music

    9am mass: Cantor and Organ

    11am mass: Cantor and Organ
Section leaders on certain Sundays throughout the year

    Description of Choirs:

The Student Leaders group is a scholarship program for gifted high school musicians in the community who can commit to each Sunday the Principal Choir sings, as well as Christmas and Holy Week. Choristers need not be members of the parish to join, but musical preparation outside of rehearsal (held before mass on Sunday) is expected and most of the Student Leaders have experience reading music. The goal of the Student Leaders is to inspire people of all ages and walks of life to grow closer to God through the vast tradition of sacred music.

The Principal Choir sings at the 11am mass. Rehearsal is before the 11am mass from 10:15-10:45. This ensemble primarily focuses on standard repertoire of the American Catholic tradition and leading the congregation in hymns.

The Contemporary Ensemble plays for the 6pm mass every Sunday (reflecting the academic calendar). Rehearsal is before the 6pm mass.

It is our duty to prefer the service of the poor to everything else and to offer such service as quickly as possible. If a needy person requires medicine or other help during prayer time, do whatever has to be done with peace of mind. Offer the deed to God as your prayer.... Charity is certainly greater than any rule. Moreover, all rules must lead to charity."-St. Vincent de Paul
